MYP COORDINATOR

International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a five-year programme for students aged between 11-16. Due to the national requirements of 4+4+4 system (Primary, Middle, High Schools) in education and in order to ensure the continuum among three IB programmes in our school (PYP-MYP-DP) grade 5 is regarded as “MYP T”, which is the Transition year to MYP. In “MYP T” program requirements are met and the programme is implemented the same as other MYP years. Education in MYP is based on inquiry and international-mindedness. The programme aims to help cultivate learners, who are equipped with ten IB Learner Profile attributes and contributes to the peace in the World. Our school has become an IB MYP interested school in 2015-2016 and a candidate school in 2016-2017. Currently, our school is in the second year of its candidacy stage.
